What is the On Ramp Program:

This program has been handcrafted to prepare you for CrossFit by teaching you the basics (Foundational Movements) in four (4) one on one private training sessions with a coach.  CrossFit is a unique training method and community. During the program, we focus on getting to you your goals and teaching you the basics so you can safely join a CrossFit class when finished with the program. During the 30 days, you will learn foundational CrossFit movements such as:

  • Wall Ball
  • KettleBell Swing
  • Air Squat
  • Front Squat
  • OverHead Squat
  • Clean
  • Press
  • Push Press
  • Jerk
  • Snatch
  • Deadlift
  • Push Up
  • Pull Up
  • Kipping
  • Hollow Outs

Why can’t I join CrossFit classes immediately?

CrossFit is unique from other training methodologies because we employ functional movements – multi-joint movements that closely replicate those found in sports or life, and which strengthen and engage an entire kinetic chain instead of an individual muscle or muscle group. Therefore it is important to learn the basics before joining a class.  You have to Crawl before you Walk and Walk before you Run!

After the On Ramp Program:

Once you’ve finished On Ramp, you can join CrossFit and Burn classes and practice your new skills in Open Box. CrossFitters differ by degree not kind and therefore each day every member will perform the same workout at different levels. We recommend that all new CrossFitters start at the Fitness level and progress to Performance and eventually RX. Everything is scalable and our coaches get to know you and may recommend scaling the workout differently based on your abilities.
